This blog is a supplemental resource for interpreters and presenters with a focus on exhibits and activities at PSC to help us engage with our guests. Heard or read something that you think might be useful at a station or presentation? Been asked a question that you couldn't answer, or given an answer that you think others in SIP might want to use? This is a good place to share it.

Earthquake Teachable Moment! San Francisco Bay Area 6.0 Earthquake!
A 6.0 earthquake hit San Francisco on August 24th at approximately 10 pm. This is a great opportunity to talk about earthquakes while on the floor with guests, or during interp/demo time on the SOS. Here is a pdf full of information about the earthquake and great information about earthquakes in general. I highly recommend you take a look! Especially if you do a Demo on earthquakes!
