Planet prematurely aging its parent star

How many parents feel that that having a little one constantly running in circles around them and incessantly tugging on them makes them feel like they're aging faster?

As well, what happened to those days of just letting yourself be free to be as wild and uncontrolled as you want?

Well, this star can relate. According to a report from one of the teams team at the Chandra X-ray observatory, that is what a super-jovian planet is doing to WASP-18, its host star. The star appears more stable than most stars its age due to the influence of such a large body orbiting so closely.

I'm sure if we tell this story to parents while doing the Strange Worlds cart, they'll appreciate the comparison.
