Partial Solar Eclipse the last such event until 2017!

If you were here on Thursday, you may have noticed a little drama over the weather. Sunbreaks alternated with driving rain, making the partial solar eclipse (in which the moon passed directly between Earth and the sun) difficult to see. We watched it on a live feed from Griffith Observatory, and interpreted to the guests who came by. Here are some pictures taken around the country of the event, and some are pretty spectacular.

The next eclipse, a total, will occur on August 21, 2017, so stay tuned!
