This image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope is of a galaxy cluster that appears to be smiling. The "smile" is generated because of a phenomena called gravitational lensing. This occurs because the gravity exerted by the galaxy cluster is so strong that it warps the spacetime surrounding it. The alignment of the cluster and the Hubble Space Telescope generates this beautiful ring shape due to the bending of light caused by the gravitational lensing. Click here to read a brief article about this effect.
